SMACK THE PONY IS THE BEST AND THE FUNNIEST!!!

PurushaDesa September 3, 2010 at 2:11 am

They say comedy, particularly sketch comedy, is a young person’s game, but I’d really like to see Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips and Fiona Allen and Sarah Alexander all reunited with those writers again. With few exceptions, that team put the current crop of young female comic performers to shame – Katy Brand for instance just comes cross as a nasty, bitter cow.

bnbnic September 3, 2010 at 3:07 pm

This is a wonderful service. Good for her, the previous owners and most important probably good for the parrots. It doesn’t matter what language you speak, love is universal.

Suttmann69 September 3, 2010 at 3:35 pm

lol at 0:30

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 3:57 pm

Yes, you are right, that often IS a sign of affection :]

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 4:15 pm

Your welcome!

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 4:38 pm

Now if they NEVER come out of the cage then I agree with you, but if they are with loving owners who understand that they need mental stimulation and need to get out often, then I completely disagree with you.

But I guess this is the “Animals Rights” argument vs. the “Animals Welfare” argument. I’m not going to change your mind and your not going to change mine, so lets just agree to disagree.

FlyItUpZero September 3, 2010 at 5:02 pm

My birds regurgitate for me, a sign of affection. So they ARE happy living with man.

cgkitti September 3, 2010 at 5:13 pm

umm…German. I took a few years of German in high school…and I can understand some of it (the parts I don’t understand are the vocabulary I don’t know).

Any language you don’t know will always sound like gibberish…

avrillavignerox11 September 3, 2010 at 5:31 pm

fuck off man, its German.
Actually, German is a very clear though slightly complex launguage, but we have a tendency to speak quickly as the words fall into our mouths like that (actually im English but I’ve lived in germany since i was five XD)

anyway, YAY PARROTS! :D

sunooii September 3, 2010 at 5:59 pm

its english

Baldoxxx4000 September 3, 2010 at 5:59 pm

wtf kind of language is that? jibirish?

4sterisk September 3, 2010 at 6:06 pm

The truth of the matter is that most of these birds have been bred in captivity for so many generations that they lack some of the innate survival “knowledge” or instinct, making it harder for them to survive in the wild. Like with all other domesticated animals (like it or not, a lot -but not all- of these animals are domesticated to some degree), we’ve taken them out of their natural lives, so the least we can do is let the wild ones stay wild and take good care of those we’ve domesticated.

soheiljerusalem September 3, 2010 at 6:47 pm

People living in small apartments does NOT compare to animals in CAGES !

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 7:00 pm

As they are bred in captivity, they always enjoy it with the right owner. That’s like saying people who live in a small apartment cannot have a good life. With the right people in it and the right interactions they will have an enjoyable life. I think my parrot would HATE a wild life being that he would no longer have anyone to feed him. It’s just different life styles. If you are used to one, you will not enjoy the other.

soheiljerusalem September 3, 2010 at 7:58 pm

Well , I guess they start” enjoying” their life in cages when they have no other choice ?!

HeftigeHarry September 3, 2010 at 8:57 pm

Thank you!

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 9:26 pm

I disagree. Many parrots enjoy time with their human companions. However, it takes the right type of person to care for these types of birds.

Indiratempest September 3, 2010 at 9:27 pm

The parrot at 52 is a Severe macaw

AlucardMyLover September 3, 2010 at 9:39 pm

haha awesome

soheiljerusalem September 3, 2010 at 10:25 pm

And wat’s next? Do they let those parrots breed and mate? I think wat she’s doing is great but I really don’t like the idea of keeping these kinda birds as “pets” . It’s so inhumane to cage them . they’ll never be utterly happy living with man.

tubby92288 September 3, 2010 at 10:29 pm

TRUE DAT

OceanFoam September 3, 2010 at 10:49 pm

while it is ‘adorable’, the fact that some of those birds start plucking their own feathers out of loneliness and confinement is really sad :/
aka they shouldnt be kept as pets.
