This is a question for Irish and Scottish women?

I know that personality counts a lot when coming to relationships, but I’ve always wanted to know how an Irish or Scottish woman feels about American men when it comes to dating?

I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but i really think it depends on the individuals involved. I don’t think an irish or scottish woman can like ‘American men’ as a whole.

having bin severely offended by an american man who said scotland didnt even exist and that we were a worthless country (eh…who gave the world the telephone, penicillin and televison??), i would neva date an american. no offence, but they are GENERALLY up themselves and believe america is the centre of the universe!

I’ve found that most women who are not American, usually don’t really like American men. It’s mainly based on pre-conceived notions that we’re all arrogant and ignorant and full of ourselves. A lot of us aren’t like that, but perceptions die hard. Oh well.

I find personally what passes for confidence in America can often be seen as arrogance in Ireland, there is a massive difference in the dating cultures between Ireland and America too and American men can sometimes be seen as being overly forward.
